Virgin Money is breaking records with the longest ever interest-free period to celebrate 20 years in financial services. Borrowers will be able to enjoy 0% interest on balance transfers and money transfers for an eye-watering 40 months! Put simply, that equates to 3 years and 4 months with no interest to pay. Did we mention it’s the longest 0% period ever offered?

The Virgin Money Balance Transfer Credit Card charges a one-off 2.99% balance transfer fee whilst money transfers are charged at 4%. However, you must make any transfers within the first 60 days of opening the account to get these rates. Card holders will receive 0% on purchases for the first 3 months.

As always offers like these don’t stick around and this card is only available until 9th September 2015.

To mark Virgin Money’s first 20 years in financial services, Virgin Money is also offering a new retro cassette tape card design. This design is a nod to Virgin’s history in music, following the limited edition Sex Pistols card designs which were launched earlier this year.

Whilst the maximum interest-free period offered by other providers is 36 months, the Virgin Money Balance Transfer card gives you an extended 4 months of zero percent interest. The cost of transferring a balance of £2,000 is £59.80 with a representative APR of 18.9%.
